About FoundingFun
FoundingFun makes Founders' Trivia, a free game that teaches American history through the lives of the men who founded the country.
Most history quizzes ask about dates and battles. Founders' Trivia lets the founders introduce themselves. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and James Madison each step forward to ask about their own lives: where they grew up, what they risked, what they built and what they believed.
The questions are written for curious adults, families and students. Each answer comes with a short fact, so players learn something whether they get it right or wrong. Story time adds short narrated stories, and the flag progression walks players through the history of the American flag.
Where the questions come from
Questions draw on standard histories of the founding era and on W. Cleon Skousen's biographies The Real George Washington, The Real Thomas Jefferson and The Real Benjamin Franklin, and his book The 5000 Year Leap. If you spot an error, please let us know and we will correct it.
How the game is funded
Founders' Trivia is free to play. It is supported by advertising and by Liberty Supply Co., our sister store for patriotic caps, polos, tees and mugs made to order in the USA.
